Very nice hike
We enjoyed the hike. The pickup and return transport by car was uncomplicated and I felt very safe. The hike was good, and Adrian, the guide, made an effort to make the excursion as good as possible. He knows a lot about the history of the country and talks a lot about it; he is friendly and seems to be a very open person with whom you can talk without any problems. All in all, it was a pleasant hike with a pleasant person. We would book an excursion with him again at any time. 🙂

The most amazing hiking experience in Romania
Adrian is a very kind and responsible guide who knows the trails extremely well. I felt safe hiking with him, especially on sections that were covered in snow and a bit slippery. During the winter it’s not possible to reach the peak, but the views are still stunning. Adrian is also very knowledgeable about Romanian history, and I learned a lot during the hike. I highly recommend him for hiking, especially if you’re travelling solo.

Surprising Transylvania
Transylvania is much more than the dark images that movies left in our memories — beautiful snowy mountains, lovely medieval and colourful cities, stunning castles, charming brown bears, forests and delicious food. Adrian doesn’t just show you the main sights; he gives context, connecting the dots with history and culture in a very passionate way. He knows every tiny detail of the places we visited — even the arrangement of the tiles in one of the castle’s towers. I booked the Corvin Castle & Sibiu tour and had an amazing day; I didn’t have to worry about logistics, I just sat in the car and enjoyed the scenic views, stories and conversation, and even learned the juicy details about Vlad the Impaler’s family. Corvin is a gothic jewel — moat, dungeon, towers — and we visited every room open to the public. Sibiu looks like a fairy-tale city, so charming with its colourful “houses with eyes,” the famous Bridge of Lies and the main square being prepared for the Christmas Market. I highly recommend any of Adrian’s tours — you’ll have such a great time with someone who clearly loves what he does. If I come back to Romania, I’ll for sure book another tour with him, because the experience was stunning.
Unbeatable Experience!
Adrian is very knowledgeable, clearly has a passion for his country’s history and is so engaging. He was flexible with my planning and requests, and had plenty of suggestions for places to visit, extra activities and wonderful food. I visited Sighișoara on my own, so Adrian willingly picked me up there and crafted a wonderful day visiting Prejmer, Biertan and Viscri. This was hands down one of the best travel experiences I’ve ever had. From start to finish, our guide made this day absolutely unforgettable and truly special — it felt like a private VIP experience rather than a typical tour. We were treated to an amazing lunch at his family’s restaurant, and travel was extremely comfortable in a spacious Mercedes V-Class. 3 days of fun and adventure
Having travelled both sides of Europe with many different guides, I can sincerely say that Adrian is the most professional and knowledgeable guide we have ever had. From the first meeting, where he was totally approachable and punctual, to the hidden-away places he showed us, Adrian made us feel like part of his family — something we had not experienced before. We travelled from castles to mountains and into salt mines, and the food was out of this world. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending both the tours and the man as someone to take you on an unbelievable adventure.

We started our tour at 08:00 with Adrian — a good time, as we beat the crowds at Peleș. A very passionate and knowledgeable guide; nothing was too much trouble for him. If you wanted to stop or see something on the side, no problem. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and finished with a traditional meal at his father’s restaurant. We had such a brilliant day — thanks, Adrian. One of the best tour guides we have had in our travels.

Adrian, the tour guide, is fantastic. His English is excellent and his knowledge of history is first rate. He kept us captivated throughout — he knows so much in-depth history of the locations, and of Romania in general. These locations are a must-visit in Romania, and with Adrian’s first-rate knowledge this tour is a must-do! Line skip is also included, so no waiting in the big queues, and his transport ensures you travel to all the locations in comfort. The restaurant visited for lunch is also very good, where you can try traditional Romanian food.
Terrific blend of historical perspective and local knowledge
Adrian’s enthusiasm for Romania’s history and culture is infectious. Due to my own scheduling error, our plans for a two-day tour were compressed into 13 hours of almost non-stop, fact-filled, entertaining story-telling, bringing me from 200 BC to the current day. Adrian’s local knowledge allowed him to share special insights throughout each visit. Beautiful Brașov, Râșnov and castles
We had Adrian, who is the nicest guide and a very good driver, for our 5-day trip to Transylvania.
